Get In My Belly!

Get In My Belly ! ! !

It's a great ad, baby back ribs and all that, and the characters are well done. The Doltiness of the Big Guy is very believable! The punch line 'Get In My Belly ! ! !' is a bit late, with the lead in a nodder, but still well said!

I makes me imagine, though, what the poor service persons at that restaurant have to put up with. All those high school geeks and rednecks and egoists doing 'Get In My Belly' impersonations over and over and over must get REALLY old.

Other than that, it's a great ad!

Geico and the Gecko

The Gecko ads are SO full of well done bits.

The lean against the tree, slipping, catching balance with one hand; superb!

The recruiting of the other gecko, and calling the licking of the eye "theatrics" is off the hook.

i haven't used this insurance company, so far, but damned if i'll forget who they are.

Well done!

Bud's "The Magic 'Fridge"

This one is great! Surprise, the twist, so guy-like with a college flair. Techno sneaky gets overcome by frat ritualistic simplicity.

Bravo!

Shall We Start at the Beginning?

Sounds ok to me.

There are ads, they come and go, which are pleasing, intelligent, well thought out or just adorable in some way. They catch our attention almost immediately, and can trigger a sigh or a 'wow' or even a 'right on' exclamation. This is where i will list them, and explain. I will try to be brief.

Ads we hate will be in a seperate blog named with Hate instead of Like, ok?

Yes, this may be simply advertising for the ads, or the companies behind the ads. at least it will give an outlet to let our voice of reaction back at the people behind them.

Add to the list, with comments. Keep it clean, so it can be shared.

Thanks!
